Guess what? I'm going to San Fransisco next month! Are you surprised?
There's a conference for science teachers in San Fransisco on April 17th and 18th, and I'm going to the conference. I'm not a science teachers, of course, but I'm going to the meetings anyway. My marine biology professor is going too.
A lot of biologists, chemists, and physicsts are going to the conference. Some of them are high school teachers and college instructors, of course, but many of them aren't. Anyway, the meetings are for scientists, biologists, chemists, and others, not just for teachers. Anybody can go. The conference is at the Newmark Hotel. That's your favorite hotel in San Fransisco, isn't it?
My friend Mary Vargas is going to San Fransisco with me, I think. We're going by plane. The first conference session is at 9 o'clock on April 17th, so we're going to San Fransisco on April 16th. Mary's not going to the conference meetings with me. This is just a vacation for her. She's going sightseeing in San Fransisco.
I can't with a long letter to you. Tonight I'm studying. There's an exam tomorrow morning in my biology class.
